How is the cost of air cargo calculated?
Air cargo is charged on the greater of actual weight or volumetric weight (L×W×H in cm ÷ 6000). The minimum chargeable weight is 1 kg.
How is sea freight charged?
LCL sea freight is charged per CBM (cubic metre) with a minimum of 0.20 CBM or KES 12,000 from China. UK sea freight is charged per kg.
How long does shipping from China take?
Sea freight takes 30-40 days door to door. Air cargo takes 7-12 days.
How long does shipping from the UK take?
Air cargo arrives in about 7 days. Sea freight takes about 45 days.
Do you handle customs clearance?
Yes. Every quote can include KRA customs clearance, duty calculation, and documentation at Mombasa or Nairobi.
Are the calculator estimates final?
No. Estimates are indicative. The final quote depends on cargo specifics, origin collection, and clearance requirements.
Can you collect from my supplier?
Yes. We collect from any supplier or warehouse in China and the UK, consolidate, and ship.
How do I pay?
We invoice in USD, KES, or GBP depending on the route. Payment details are shared with your quotation.
